We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join our team. The Purchasing Agent will work as part of a team and be responsible for sourcing and purchasing appliances and accessories, communicating and working with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to our facilities in coordination with our customer service department to suit our clients' needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Order merchandise from approved suppliers
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules
- Review internal order and inventory reports to determine procurement needs
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Utilize procurement software along with standard Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook and Excel
- Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality standards

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar role
- Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management
- Ability to communicate effectively and keep the sales and customer service teams updated
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
