Job Summary: As a Dispatcher for Modern Roofing, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching our roofing technicians to various job sites. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of roofing projects and customer needs. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work well under pressure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive incoming service requests and assess their urgency and priority.
- Coordinate and schedule roofing technicians based on project requirements and availability.
- Dispatch technicians to job sites, ensuring timely arrivals.
- Communicate effectively with roofing teams, providing them with location details, directions, and any necessary updates.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, dispatch activities, and project status.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and the sales team to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Liaise with customers to address any concerns, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Utilize dispatching software and tools to record and track job progress, maintain records, and generate reports.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve dispatch processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or dispatching is a plus.
- Proven experience in a dispatch or operations role, preferably in the construction or roofing industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Proficient in using dispatching software and computer systems is a plus, not a requirement.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with roofing materials, equipment, and terminology is advantageous but not required.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
