**Responsibilities**:
- Provide direct care to clients in their homes following a personalized care plan
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Help with medication reminders and ensuring clients take their medication
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Escalate any concerns or changes in a client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety protocols as set by Senior Helpers and the client's care plan
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare or caregiving role in a professional agency setting
- Completion of a state-approved training program or willingness to complete training upon hire
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
