As an Assistant Account Consultant at Savoy, you’ll have the opportunity to support our business development team in ensuring a smooth internal process that translates to our outside broker partners as a coordinated, proactive, and organized administrative unit.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist with processing small group case installations, including scrubbing paperwork, obtaining missing information prior to carrier submission, entering client information accurately into carrier online portals.
- Assist with processing renewal changes through carrier portals and/or submission to carrier ensuring all paperwork is received and processed timely.
- Handle front line communication with brokers during installation and renewal change process while setting proper expectations.
- Ensure all new cases and renewal changes are entered in VUE timely and accurately, including split information where applicable.
- Assist with coordination of quote requests; handle medical underwriting and additional information requests from carrier.
- Maintain new business installation, quote request, and renewal trackers.
- Obtain and provide forms and materials to brokers such as rate grids, SBC’s, benefit summaries.
- Service existing accounts as needed, including claim and billing inquiries, member maintenance, general group administrative changes and open enrollment kits.
- Additional assignments or responsibilities as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- BA/BS preferred but not required
- 1-3 years experience in group health insurance preferred
- Accident & Health License required within 3-6 months of hire
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast-paced, changing environment
