The Concierge Coordinator provides support as needed to the Concierge Representatives to meet overall scheduling objectives while exceeding patients’ expectations. Supports the Manager Customer Service and staff in day-to-day operations. Responsible for staff training.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Assures quality, procedural compliance and training for Concierge Representatives.
- Assigns and monitors work of Concierge Representatives; ensures timely completion of their work; resolves operations problems; implements new procedures.
- Supervises representatives in the day-to-day activities involved in accurate and timely appointment scheduling and insurance verification
- Responds to questions, issues or problems raised by staff and patients regarding all aspects of scheduling and insurance verification
- Works with all business unit leadership and managers to ensure quality and procedural compliance
- Reports call volumes and abandonment rates weekly and completes staff audits monthly
- Monitors staff audit results and provides additional training or follow-up with staff when indicated
- Assists in recruiting; provides initial and ongoing staff training and new employee orientation; stays abreast of changes and updates to provide staff with the most accurate coaching and training; maintains training/reference manuals.
- Communicates with Manager Customer Service on operations status and staff performance.
- Exhibits sensitivity to patient health information and protects confidentiality
- Maintains privacy at all times for patient and employee information
- Epic experience preferred
