**We are seeking a Full-Time Food Service Aide**

**1st Shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM**

**2nd Shift 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM**

**Brief Job Summary for Food Service Aide**:
Perform assigned work in preparing and serving food, cleaning food service areas, equipment and utensils.
- Performs job duties safely as specified in the physical, sensory, and mental requirements.
- Prepares patient trays according to instructions and diet order.
- Assists in preparation and portioning of meal items according to menu and diet requirements.
- Covers, dates, and labels leftovers and open items properly.
- Employs proper food handling techniques in preparation of food and setting up or serving trays.
- Cleans, washes, and sanitizes dishes, silverware, and utensils using correct method.
- Assists in maintaining the general cleanliness of the dish washing area.
- Cleans work area and equipment as assigned.
- Puts up stock in food storage areas, including dry storage, freezers, and refrigerators, as assigned.

**Qualifications required of Food Service Aide**
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred or sufficient knowledge and education to perform job functions
- A minimum of three months prior experience in long-term care preferred.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of safety techniques
- Able to operate various medical and/or office equipment
