**Prime Services Negotiator Assistant Vice President**

As a Barclays Prime Services Negotiator Assistant Vice President, you will be accountable for drafting, negotiating, and executing various capital markets contract documentation supporting the Prime Services and Prime Derivatives Services (PDS) businesses of Barclays. Global Contract Services (GCS) is a global team within Markets Legal that is primarily leading the negotiation and execution of master trading documentation for Barclays’ client-facing Markets business.

**What will you be doing?**
- Assisting with the prime brokerage, futures, and related financing businesses by drafting, negotiating, and executing capital markets contract documentation
- Negotiating ISDA Master Agreements and Credit Support Agreements, Global Master Repurchase Agreement, Master Securities Loan Agreement, and Prime Brokerage
- Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and documentation risk controls and adhere to associated guidelines and procedures
- Conducting independent legal analysis and leading relationships with external counsel where necessary and within Barclays requirements on external legal spend
- Advising senior stakeholders of the firm including Managing Directors and Directors in Sales, Trading, Risk, Compliance, and Operations with respect to risks, controls, and legal
- Establishing and maintaining good relationships with senior stakeholders of the firm to establish client trading relationships and drive business priorities
- Partnering with colleagues in infrastructure areas of Barclays Investment Bank including in the Legal Department, Risk, Operations, Tax, Counterparty Risk Trading, and Treasury

**What we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Several years of financial services experience and negotiation experience of prime services agreements
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Also including intermediation agreements (FXPB), repurchase agreements, stock lending agreement, and any supplementary agreements
- Knows legal risk management in the context of document negotiation and the regulatory developments in the prime services and derivatives industry
