Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Estimator to join our team. As a Project Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects and providing timely and competitive bids. Your expertise in project management, construction management software, and blueprint reading will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Prepare accurate cost estimates by calculating labor, material, and equipment costs
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop project schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes for materials and services
- Review and interpret construction contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Utilize construction management software to provide detailed estimates and track project progress
- Conduct site visits to gather information for estimating purposes
- Assist in value engineering efforts to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Project Estimator or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques, including quantity takeoffs and pricing
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
- Familiarity with construction management software (such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or )
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
