As a R&D Lab Technician, you will be responsible for:

- Conducting routine laboratory tests including the necessary checks and operations of equipment required in the laboratory.
- Being able to handle difficult and complex assignments, while working within a team resolve an issue.
- Compiling, analyzing, and interpreting results for internal and external customers.
- Carrying out all required responsibilities safely and as described in the standard operations manual.
- Communicating results to the supervisor in a detailed manner, while being able to handle special projects.
- Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance, and Baker Hughes Core Values.

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relative experience or have an Associate’s degree with 8+ years of relative experience.
- Be able to run appropriate tests and procedures.
- Have Control valves and/or regulator assembly experience.
- Have experience with high-pressure pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Have experience with low voltage wiring, some instrumentation, and designing/building instrumentation panels.
- Be able to drive a forklift.
