Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and check-in patients, verifying their personal and insurance information
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members
- Collect co-pays and process payments
- Maintain patient records and update medical charts using electronic systems: eClinicalWorks
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling patient information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as eClinicalWorks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
