Job Summary:
We are seeking a Locksmith Field Technician to join our team. As a Locksmith Field Technician, you will work under the supervision of the assigned manager, leads and performs service work on facilities, equipment and tasks involved in installing and repairing all types of locks, door hardware, electrified hardware, access control and keying.

**Duties**:

- Install, maintain, and repair all types of door locks and hardware.
- Maintain and implement master lock key systems.
- Re-keys various types of lock cylinders; ensures compliance with building and safety laws, codes, regulations, and standards applicable to the locksmith trade.
- Pick open a variety of locks as needed
- Responsible for managing vehicle inventory, materials and tools and maintaining a clean and orderly van to ensure all mobile work areas are safe, clean and in good working order. - Complete job walks and prepare accurate and complete estimates for a variety of work requested and/or needed by a customer - Troubleshoot and problem solve wide variety of lock and door hardware related issues.

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of building, fire and ADA codes related to doors and hardware
- Knowledge and experience with the operation and maintenance of tools and equipment used in the locksmith trade.
- Knowledge of Master key systems and key coding techniques including decoding keys and cylinders
- Technical knowledge of the mechanical and electrical aspects of the locksmith trade
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and work efficiently in groups and independently with mínimal direction.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
