**Duties**:

- Develop software programs, assures optimum equipment utilization, achieves functional goals, and enhances program maintenance.
- Ensure that all recommendations for hardware and software requirements are cost effective and efficient.
- Analyze and evaluates workplace automation requirements for integration into a Remedy based business system.
- Search and maintain liaison with manufacturers, professional organizations, and counterparts at other activities regarding available hardware/software products and state-of-the-art technologies and techniques.

- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access for the duration of employment.
- This position is designated as Key. The position cannot be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the mission.

Examples of IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: expressing facts and ideas in a clear, concise, convincing, and organized manner; clearly conveying moderately complex ideas, concepts, and information to customers; exhibiting active listening by demonstrating understanding of audience comments and/or questions.
