**Summary**
The Agents Companies is a residential subcontractor specializing in foundation coating, material spreading services, roll-off waste management systems, and foundation coating supplies. Our customer base primarily consists of home-builders and business contractors, and we are located in NC, SC, GA, and TN. The company is seeking an Outside Sales representative in our Columbia, SC, market.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales.
- Builds and maintains relationships with current and potential clients to market the services provided and increase customer base.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying the existing and potential volume of customers and permitting trends.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; and making recommendations to management.
- Contributes to company effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Completes required bids, estimates, and drawings.
- Uses proprietary software to manage accounts and resources.
- Works and communicates closely with administrative staff to ensure accuracy, prompt billing, and appointment schedules.
- Willing to travel daily, visit job sites in advance of scheduled work to ensure that the site is ready, and as necessary, visit during the project to ensure work is performed properly to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Willing to attract new business by cold calling.
**Required Skills & Experience**
- Existing knowledge and connections in the construction industry in the Columbia, SC area.
- Experienced, successful, and proven salesman in construction fields.
- Existing relationships with builders and/or vendors in the Columbia, SC area.
- College and/or University Degree
- Excellent Communication Skills - (written and oral).
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Works well independently and as a team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
