Utility Coordinator

Our team in Houston has a need for a Utility Coordinator to join their team. The Utility Coordinator will work to support the team on project tasks. This position reports to a Senior Utility Coordinator. Minimum travel will be required. Benefits include a competitive compensation package.

**What you will do**:

- Coordination of utility adjustment process for roadway and utility improvement projects
- Assists with design activities by attending meetings, reviewing documents, coordinating activities, ensuring all parties receive and review ongoing information, facilitating site visits, improving coordination, and identifying right of way easements
- Utility records research
- Utility conflict determination and conflict resolution
- Assist in Utility Agreement Assembly and Joint Use Agreement review
- Track and monitor progress of the permitting and relocation efforts

**Who you are**:
You are a results driven individual and a strategic thinker with excellent problem solving and analysis skills. You are an accomplished communicator, both verbal and written, and you are able to work on multiple tasks at a time.

**What you bring**:

- 1-year experience in Utility Coordination or relevant equivalent
- Strong use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word
- Experience with utility agreement assemblies
- Strong scheduling and communication skills
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, Utility permit review, utility conflict identification and other relevant engineering and administrative software
- Experience with preliminary utility adjustment / design review.
