**Job Summary**:
The EHS Manager is responsible for planning and managing the processes, people, and activities of Healthcare Arizona to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards in the areas of Health, Safety, & Environment. The HSE Manager also conducts inspections and enforces adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of Healthcare Arizona team members.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:

- EHS Team to include Facility Monitors

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Hires and trains EHS team
- Oversee the daily workflow and schedule departments.
- Handle disciple and terminations in accordance with company policy

**HAZMAT Compliance**:

- Oversee the company's hazardous materials management program, including the handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of hazardous substances.
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation of hazardous materials in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to conduct risk assessments related to HAZMAT and implement mitigation strategies.

**OSHA Compliance**:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive OSHA compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
- Stay updated on OSHA regulations and standards, ensuring continuous compliance.

**Safety Training**:

- Coordinate and provide EHS training for new hire/employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Develop and deliver training materials, safety manuals, and resources to enhance safety awareness and knowledge.

**Incident Management**:

- Establish and maintain a robust incident reporting system.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and report to relevant authorities as required.
- Conduct JHA (Job Hazard analysis)

**Environmental Compliance**:

- Assist in monitoring and managing environmental compliance programs, including air quality, water quality, and waste management.
- Implement strategies to reduce the company's environmental footprint.

**Emergency Response**:

- Develop and update emergency response plans and procedures.
- Conduct drills and exercises to ensure the readiness of the emergency response team.
- Disaster preparedness.

**Team Leadership**:

- Lead and mentor a team of EHS professionals, fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Provide guidance and support to departmental managers and employees on EHS matters.

**Regulatory Liaison**:

- Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, organizational regulation, and policies.
- Interact with regulatory agencies, respond to inquiries, and participate in inspections and audits.
- Ensure all required permits and licenses are up to date.

**Health and Wellness**:

- Promote a culture of health and wellness within the organization, including initiatives related to ergonomics, wellness programs, and employee health promotion.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and resources to support employee health and well-being.

**Legal Reporting and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities, incidents, and compliance.
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required.

**Education and Experience**:

- A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field. (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. (required)

**Physical Requirements**:

- Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
- Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
- Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make fine discriminations in sound.
