Position: Bookkeeper

**Job Description**:
As a bookkeeper at our firm, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records for our diverse client base. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- QuickBooks Desktop Experience: Proficiently navigate QuickBooks Desktop to handle bookkeeping tasks efficiently.
- Cleaning Up Assistant Bookkeeper's Work: Prior experience in reviewing and cleaning up the work of assistant bookkeepers is highly recommended.
- Financial Reporting: Understand and interpret financial reports such as Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet to provide valuable insights to our clients.
- Payroll Entries: Knowledge of allocating payroll entries from payroll reports accurately. Payroll processing in QuickBooks Desktop is a plus.
- Full Charge Bookkeeping: Perform full charge bookkeeping tasks, including bank and credit card reconciliations as well as journal entries.
- Analytical Skills: Utilize analytical abilities to identify discrepancies, errors, and opportunities for improvement in financial records.
- Organization: Maintain an organized system for record-keeping and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Communication: Demonstrate strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop with at least three years of experience. QuickBooks Online experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial reports such as Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
- Knowledge of payroll entry allocation from payroll reports.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
