HOUSING COORDINATOR- BILINGUAL, SPEAKS SPANISH

Part Time $26/hr., $47320 annual. full time.

**Job Description**:

- Counsel clients with respect to their overall financial situation as it relates to budgeting affordability, debt reduction, credit re-building and education.
- Create an action plan for clients.
- Build relationships with local brokers, developers, property managers and other partner professionals to develop referral sources and agreements.
- Adhere to all guidelines related to the confidentiality of client records and information and requirements.
- Participation in local housing events.
- Working collaboratively with staff to produce effective marketing of housing program.
- Participate in agency sponsored training; training required by agency, HUD, intermediaries and partners.

Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associate degree with two years or more of experience in the human services field.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to actively listen and, when appropriate, counsel throughout the housing search process.
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of Word, Outlook. Knowledge of PowerPoint
- Respectful of persons with a disability, from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Fluency in Spanish a must.
- Strong knowledge of Word, Outlook. Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint
- Must Own Transportation and the ability to travel in Westchester,
