**Position Summary**

The Development Manager will report to the Development Director to assist with operations, events, prospect research, grateful giving efforts, stewardship, fundraising campaigns, communications, and data input. This role is integral to grow the Foundation’s support and increase unrestricted revenue. This is a great opportunity for someone with development experience to take their skills to the next level in an exciting, fast-paced environment.

This job includes some evening and weekend work, as well as travel.

**Goals and Responsibilities**
- Execute fundraising event timelines, logistics, and communications.
- Assist with volunteer recruitment, management, and retention.
- Support the creation of fundraising strategies, donor experiences, and budget development that aim to achieve annual net revenue growth.
- Implement stewardship plans for individuals, corporate and foundation donors.
- Manage and track constituent relationship information using Salesforce.
- Develop and update marketing collateral such as donor reports, brochures, save the dates, posters and related items.
- Provide stellar customer services to all donors and volunteers.
- Conducts prospect research on individuals, companies, and foundations.
- Assists the Executive Director with administrative duties to support the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, which includes scheduling, agenda development, preparing meeting materials, drafting meeting minutes, and ensuring records are updated and filed.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Four-year degree required.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the nonprofit sector as a development professional.
- Experience managing volunteers.
- Experience creating dynamic marketing materials.
- Exposure to CRM software; Salesforce experience a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Strong internal and external communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload.
- Good project management / planning skills.
- Accountable and results oriented.

**Compensation**
- This is a full-time, exempt position that reports to the Development Director.
- Salary Range is $55,000 - $65,000.
- This is an on-site position in Newark with the option to work from home twice a week.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
