Responsibilities: - Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum - Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment - Use creative teaching methods to engage students in the learning process - Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student development - Manage classroom behavior and promote positive behavior management techniques - Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress - Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (or in a program) - Valid teaching certification or license (or in a program) - Experience working with elementary school-aged children - Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in education - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Skills (not required): -Experience teaching primary grades (student teaching counts) If you are passionate about education and making a positive impact on young learners, we encourage you to apply.
