A rapidly growing Aerospace company is actively looking for enthusiastic & responsible PC - DMIS Programmer. Our company provides a wide variety of services for the aerospace industry and our employees are required to have broad knowledge & experience in the precision machining trade.

**Basic Duties**:

- Developing CMM inspection programs for new and existing products using PC DMIS software
- Proven experience/ability with mechanical inspection tools - calipers, optical comparators, bore gages, digital height gages, O.D./I.D. micrometers, indicators, gage pins/blocks and microscopes.
- Create documentation necessary to provide objective evidence of conformance to Engineering requirements
- Set up and operate conventional or computer numerically controlled measurement equipment with PC-DMIS
- Create new and correct, modify and rewrite existing CMM inspection programs.
- Perform tests with completed tools to ensure that parts meet specifications; make adjustments as necessary
- Position and secure machine parts on surface plates or worktables
- Perform surface plate layout inspection as required
- Perform other tasks as directed by Supervision/Management

**Basic Requirements**:

- Ability to read technical drawings, CAD models using PC-DMIS
- Ability for appreciation of general dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- A proficient computer skills.
- Ability to interpret specifications, blueprints, manufacturers' manuals, sketches

**Education & Experience**:

- High School education or equivalent
- Must possess basic computer skills
- _Minimum 4 years as a CMM programmer_

**Other Requirements**:

- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals;
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
- Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
- Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times.

**FULL-Time position of 8-12 hrs Mon-Fri with Sat optional**

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
