Within our Tracy, CA manufacturing facility, we are seeking a highly qualified **Maintenance Supervisor** on our Plant technical team to continue moving our organization to even larger levels of maintenance, controls optimization, and production efficiencies. At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $**91,000 **and $**110,000**. This position has an annual target bonus of **10**%.

**Responsibilities**:
The Maintenance Supervisor provides guidance and direction to a team in the Maintenance Department. Makes strategic and sound decisions pertaining to equipment maintenance, department safety, and department efficiency for team. Monitors maintenance activities of team related to production processes, controls systems, utilities, and overall plant facilities to maximize equipment uptime, plant efficiencies, product quality, safety, and cost control. Monitors completion of preventative maintenance, schedules and emergency equipment maintenance, and employee actions. Builds an effective employee team by engaging, mentoring, and developing direct reports.

Y**ou Have at Least (Required Qualifications)**:

- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (preferrably in the food industry), additional education may substitute experience where applicable.
- 1+ year of experience leading, mentoring, and/or delegating work to others.
- Proficient computer knowledge, with familiarity or ability to learn SAP or other manufacturing computer systems.
- Strong knowledge of reliability principles.
- Technical knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance and repair, and overall facility maintenance.
- Working knowledge of pumps, valves, motors, general construction, welding, electrical principles, programmable logic controls.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitary design principles.
- Strong project and organizational management skills.
- High level of people management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and influence others.
- Strong planning/time management skills and balancing of resources.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

**We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications)**:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial maintenance or related field or similar work experience in related industry.
- Dairy/Cheese manufacturing experience.
- Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing environment.

**Work Environment Description**
- Works in both the plant production environment which requires walking, climbing, standing and in an office environment which requires standing and sitting. This position is expected to spend time out on the production floor observing operations and interacting with employees.
- May be required to occasionally independently move and handle objects up to 25 pounds.
