Summary

This position involves maintaining and repairing equipment, tools, and machinery as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Head Mechanic.

  • Replace, install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair production equipment and electrical components
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine solutions
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of production machines
  • Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance tasks
  • Replace faulty parts, electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards
  • Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective parts
  • Lubricate and clean parts and equipment for proper operation
  • Operate various hand and power tools for repair, grease, weld, cut, and other assigned tasks
  • Review and understand blueprints, schematics, and repair manuals
  • Operate production machines to troubleshoot effectively
  • Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical or vocational school certification preferred
  • Ability to read safety procedures, operating, and maintenance instructions
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical principles
  • Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 65lbs, extended standing, walking, bending, climbing, work in various conditions
  • Ability to work in dusty, hot, and/or cold environments
  • Wear provided personal protective equipment
Compensation
  • $26 - $32 per hour
