Home Health Aide

Job Overview:
I are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to care for my elderly parents as a Home Health Aide. English speaking is a must. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support for my mother and father. My parents live in an apartment in Aventura. Good cooking skills and positive energy are a must.

**Duties**:

- Assist my father with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with father's oxygen maintaining it is working correctly and monitoring
- Play cards with my mother throughout the day and provide entertainment.
- Must have car and be able to take parents to doctor appts and take my mother to hair appointments weekly
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Prepare great meals and snacks
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up, maintaining clean kitchen, making beds
- Help with mobility issues, including transferring and lifting
- Monitor and report any changes in parents condition or behavior to me
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Feed small dog in the morning and evening and sometimes take for a walk.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in home healthcare or a related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to cook delicious meals

**Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to be kind at all times
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, MUST speak English
- Empathy and compassion for both mother and father requiring assistance
- Ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques to ensure safety

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week

Standard shift:

- Evening shift

Weekly schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work setting:

- In-person

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
- CNA (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Aventura, FL 33180 (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
