**Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC **distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and engineering grade plastics. Our products include plate, sheet, and extensive offerings of long products for general engineering, aerospace, and commercial markets.

**Hadco **facilities are located strategically in New York, Philadelphia, Connecticut, Florida, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Georgia, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, and California with transfer stations located throughout the East, Midwest and West allowing a nationwide presence.

**Summary IT Support Help Desk Specialist**:
Support hardware and software technologies for 200+ users in 15+ sites across the US including remote employees.

**Schedule: Monday
- Friday, 9:00AM-6:00PM, with occasional OT and weekends.**

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose hardware, software, printing, and network connectivity issues including LAN, WAN, and VPN access in a Windows 10 environment over the phone. Using remote control tools to assist customers when needed.
- Troubleshooting competency, which includes the ability to problem solve hardware and software issues.
- Work in Computer Lab; image desktop/laptops, ship equipment to sites and manage inventory.
- Working knowledge and competency to perform hardware repairs and patching on Laptops, Desktop, Chromebooks, servers, scanners, and Printers.
- Effectively translate complex, technical concepts into easy-to-understand language to assist non-technically oriented customers.
- Assist with IT procurement, including creating purchase orders.
- Answer and resolve inbound technical helpdesk tickets/calls efficiently and professionally.
- Occasional travel to satellite locations.
- Additional projects as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Able and willing to work on-site 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday, with occasional OT and weekend projects.
- Experience in Active Directory with resetting passwords and verifying permissions.
- Ability to follow procedures.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and work in a team environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and provide status updates.
- Experience with Microsoft products (Windows, Office, MS Teams, etc.).
- Experience with networking - installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP.
- Experience with supporting ERP systems as databases preferred.
- Physical abilities include the ability to lift 60lbs and stooping to set up or remove equipment, mostly under an office desk or in conference rooms.

**Education and Experience**:

- 3+ years’ experience providing support in a corporate environment.
- 3+ years in a Windows network environment.
- Telecommunication experience is preferred.
- MAC support experience preferred.
- Must speak fluent English. Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian speaking preferred.
