**Responsibilities**:

- Manage employee onboarding, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and training
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and employee development plans
- Assist with employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Administer employee benefit & wellness programs and provide support for open enrollment
- Manage employee leaves of absence including Short Term Disability, FMLA, and other types of leave
- Assist the Accounting Department with bi-weekly payroll, monthly reporting, and HR related accounts payable efforts
- Maintain accurate employee records and files
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Professional Human Resources certification (PHR and/or SHRM-CP) a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of HR generalist experience
- Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
