Pinnacle Financial Services is in search of a dedicated Commission Specialist to join our accounting team. This vital role is focused on the accurate management, calculation, and distribution of commissions for our internal sales team and external agent sales partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Commission Management: Calculate commissions for both internal and external sales representatives meticulously based on existing sales data and predefined commission structures. Guarantee timely and accurate disbursement of commissions in line with sales agreements.
- Data Integrity: Keep detailed records of sales transactions, commission disbursements, and relevant financial information using CRM and accounting software to monitor commission metrics.
- Dispute Handling: Serve as the go-to person for all commission-related queries and disputes. Promptly investigate and rectify any disagreements or issues regarding commission calculations or payouts.
- Reporting and Insights: Work with the Accounting manager to produce regular and ad-hoc reports detailing commission payouts, sales efficiency, and other critical metrics for the leadership team. Offer analytical insights and suggestions to enhance commission schemes and sales strategies.
- Compliance and Verification: Ensure all commission payments adhere to corporate policies, contractual commitments, and legal standards. Support financial audits by supplying thorough and precise commission documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, finance, contracting, and human resources departments to align on commission policies and execution. Provide guidance and support to sales staff regarding commission tracking and reporting methodologies.
- Process Optimization: Supply input to technology partners to continually evaluate and refine commission calculation procedures and systems to improve efficiency, precision, and clarity. Adopt best practices in commission administration and operations.

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in commission calculations, financial support, or a comparable role.
- Advanced analytical abilities with proficiency managing significant data sets.
- Strong communication skills for effective dispute resolution and clear explanation of commission structures.
- Proficient with CRM and accounting software, along with a high level of competence in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and responsibility.
