Shipping Administrator

Description:
The Shipping Administrator serves as the first point of contact for the truck drivers making deliveries/pick-ups. Maintains and produces documentation to prepare products for shipment.
- Prepare and print shipping labels and skid labels
- Coordinate with truck drivers to ensure timely deliveries and receipt of bill of ladings
- Maintain and prepare documents, such as pick lists, bills, and labels, using FIC and Toyota databases
- Produce copies and electronic back-ups of documentation
- Store documentation in proper locations
- Follow standard work instructions
- Perform other duties assigned
- Other Job Functions:

- Comply with FIC’s Safety policies and procedures
- Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards
- Perform 5-S activities

**Requirements**:

- Must possess strong computer and data entry skills
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication
- Must be able to speak and read basic English to comply with position, Safety, Plant & PPE procedures & requirements
- Must be willing to cross-train
- Must be able to work company’s required overtime
- Must comply with FIC’s Attendance and Punctuality Policy
- Experience speaking with vendors or customers is desired but not required
- Hours for the position are 4:00am - 2:45pm - Overtime based on company needs
