Shipping Administrator

The Shipping Administrator serves as the first point of contact for the truck drivers making deliveries/pick-ups. Maintains and produces documentation to prepare products for shipment.

• Prepare and print shipping labels and skid labels
• Coordinate with truck drivers to ensure timely deliveries and receipt of bill of ladings
• Communicate with truck companies to resolve shipping issues by phone and e-mail
• Maintain and prepare documents, such as pick lists, bills, and labels, using FIC and Toyota databases
• Produce copies and electronic back-ups of documentation
• Store documentation in proper locations
• Follow standard work instructions
• Perform other duties assigned
• Other Job Functions:
• Comply with FIC’s Safety policies and procedures
• Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards
• Perform 5-S activities

• Must possess strong computer and data entry skills
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication
• Must be able to speak and read basic English to comply with position, Safety, Plant & PPE procedures & requirements
• Must be willing to cross-train
• Must be able to work company’s required overtime
• Must comply with FIC’s Attendance and Punctuality Policy
• Experience speaking with vendors or customers is desired but not required
• Hours for the position are 4:00am – 2:45pm – Overtime based on company needs
