We are seeking an entry-level Staff Accountant to join our team. This will be a unique opportunity to grow your career by developing your accounting expertise in a fast-changing software environment. Ideally, we’re looking for:

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics).
- Proficient in Excel and possess a working knowledge of accounting concepts.
- Experience with various accounting and operations software platforms a plus (such as cloud-based accounting tools like Xero and QuickBooks Online).

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Client-centric interactions and problem solving.
- Answer and resolve all client questions/inquiries in a timely fashion.
- Handle general accounting tasks across multiple clients; including bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance/bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable management, preparing financial statements.
- Oversee a high volume of bank and credit card transactions.
- Research and resolve client issues as they arise.
- Maintain strict client confidentiality.
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 16-20 clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of monthly financial statements.

This position is based in Austin, TX.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
