Part time work, Monday through Friday. Under the direction of the Pastor, the Administrative Assistant of Eden Lutheran Church and School is responsible for the efficient operation of the church office, serving as an initial point of contact for the members of the community, preparation of written documents, management of office volunteers, and assisting in the implementation of the congregation's mission. Responsible for assisting with payment processing, preparing financial records as needed in cooperation with the bookkeeper. Responsible for front office management, record management, Church bulletins and Messenger newsletter, Master calendar, working with Council and Congregational communications, finance and payments, staffing obligations, and web and media development as needed. Require Qualifications: 3 years previous administrative experience, 1 year non-profit work experience, Intermediate to advanced skills in all Microsoft Office Applications
- especially Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint, Clear communication skills and ability to write clearly. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Lutheran Church year calendar and Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Proficiency in WordPress, MailChimp, and Google Suite, Previous experience as an assistant with a religious organization, Familiarity with Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and Knowledge of non-profit organizations. Must work at a fast pace with composure and flexibility, be ever conscious of confidentiality, good at multi-tasking and prioritizing projects, and be a self-starter and able to work independently without supervision.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
