Lease Processor

**Basic Function**

**Summary**: The Lease Processor is responsible for the collating and processing of lease documents. Ensuring complete and accurate lease abstraction. Monitoring, tracking, and reporting on critical dates and other pertinent lease information such as rent periods, security deposits, prepaid rent etc. on a continuous basis.

**Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to**:

- Recording and updating details of prospective and existing tenants into our computer database swiftly and accurately
- Screening prospective tenants to ensure they meet eligibility requirements
- Informing prospective tenants of results
- Liaising with tenants to provide information and address their complaints and concerns
- Maintaining and storing documentation effectively and efficiently
- Accepting rent payments, security deposits and other applicable fees

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- Proficient knowledge of real estate industry, property management principles and relevant legislation
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Strong people skills
- Available to work extended hours when necessary

**Education/Experience**:

- High School diploma, College Degree, or suitable work experience

**- 3+ work experience as a Leasing Agent or similar position**

**Work Environment**:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

**Education**:

- High school or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Property leasing: 3 years (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- New York, NY 10022: Relocate before starting work (required)
