**What you'll be doing**:
This is a full-time on-site role as a Global Procurement Manager at Simply NUC in Round Rock, TX. The Global Procurement Manager will oversee supplier evaluation, negotiation, analytical skills, procurement, and contract management. The role involves overseeing the procurement process, developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost savings and efficiency in the supply chain.
- **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:_
- Plans, organizes, directs and controls the implementation of supply network strategies to promote a high-performing global supply network
- Performs extensive research and analysis to aid the mitigation of risks to the company
- Reviews changes in price trends and manufacturing processes and makes recommendations to ensure a successful procurement process
- Manages escalations and resolution of internal customer issues or problems
- Monitors and coordinates suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries
- Authorizes purchase orders, negotiates prices, and approves payments to support the procurement process
- Manage relationships with suppliers on behalf of the company. Items include pricing, supply assurance, and contract management
- Partner with management and key corporate stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that improve performance and reduce costs

**QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 5+ years in supply chain and/or operations (forecasting, procurement, transportation)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proven experience in procurement and contract negotiation
- Excellent supplier evaluation and contract management skills
- Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement strategies
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in relevant procurement software and tools
- Certifications in procurement and supply chain management are a plus
