Our brand new, State-Of-The-Art dental practice is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Registered Dental Assistant.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Active CPR and AED training
- Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide (preferred)
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
- Dental practice management software (**Dentrix**) preferred
- Sealant, Coronal Polishing are all a huge plus
- Bilingual (**Spanish**) is a **preferred**

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Focusing on Patient Safety and Team Safety as priority one
- Adhering to OSHA and Infection Control Protocols, and disposing of sharps and clinical waste in a prompt and safe manner
- Maintaining digital patient artifacts such as health history, insurance eligibility, treatment plans, pre-authorizations, lab requests, procedures, and appointment details
- Educating patients and parents on the benefits of good oral health
- Monitoring the patient's physical and emotional well-being during the entire visit
- Preparing tray set-ups according to doctor preferences and planned procedures
- Ensuring that exam rooms and operatories are cleaned, disinfected, organized, and stocked according to the required standards at the beginning and end of each patient interaction
- Charting existing treatment for new patients by updating the patient chart with entries for fillings, crowns, sealants, etc.
- Reviewing the patient chart and health history prior to the doctor arrival and reconfirming the patient's chief concern
- Taking diagnostic quality digital X-Rays and attaching them to the patient chart
- Helping our Team clean surfaces, sinks, floors and common areas of exam rooms, operatories, reception, break rooms, restrooms, etc.
- Performs all other duties as assigned

**What We Offer**:

- Competitive pay and bonus structure - starting pay **$16-19/hour** based on experience and monthly bonuses of up to **$10,000/year** - Bonus potential based on achieving a certain number of business objectives per month

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Prolonged sitting and standing as needed
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
