Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement CNC programs for machining parts based on engineering drawings
- Utilize CAD software to design fixtures and tooling for manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes
- Perform machine setup, tooling selection, and troubleshooting during production runs
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Maintain documentation of CNC programs and process improvements

**Skills**:

- Strong mathematical skills for interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of GD&T principles for precision machining
- Mechanical knowledge to understand machine operations and tooling requirements
- Familiarity with Inventor for design purposes
- Ability to operate lathe machines efficiently

Bullet Points for STRIPPIT programmer (industrial engineer) position:
Working daily with:

- Solid understanding of Windows OS is a must: AT Ferrell uses Windows 10Pro
- STRIPPIT turret press programming;
- 1212 machine
- 1500 machine
- CAM Program being used to generate STRIPPIT machine-code:

- Basilisk II
- Runs on Windows 10Pro machine, inside MAC Emulator;
- Produces program that will run on the respective machines based on post-processing.
- Working familiarity with MS: Office suite of programs focusing on Word and Excel
- Knowledge of the following will be a plus:

- Familiarity with Autodesk Design Suite 2024 (or any of the programs since 2014);
- Vault Pro
- Inventor
- FUSION
- AutoCAD
- This role will focus primarily on the machines listed above and less than 5% on CNC related programming, but in the future could help in that area as needed.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in a manufacturing environment with CNC machining operations and minimum 2years of programming experience. Our standard work week is a 7am-4pm Mon-Fri or 6am-4:30 Mon
- Thursday with overtime option of 3-5 hours on Friday as needed.

College students currently enrolled in a related engineering field are encouraged to apply. This role could transition into a full time role upon graduation, or serve as an internship while taking time off from school.
