**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- ** Quality Assurance**: Review blueprints and create/maintain quality plans as required. Disposition non-conforming. Review changes in drawings, submit (delta) First Article Inspection packages, prepare and submit special process request packages.
- ** CNC Operations Support**: Provide technical support to CNC machining operations, including programming, tooling solutions, and process optimization.
- ** Documentation**: Maintain accurate documentation of inspection programs, including measurement data, inspection reports, and non-conformance records.
- ** Collaboration**: Work closely with manufacturing engineers and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Work closely with Inspectors to identify inspection best practices and methods for quality plans. Perform MSA type 1 and 2 gage studies with machinists and inspectors.
- ** Continuous Improvement**: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance quality processes and optimize inspection procedures.
- ** Training Support**: Assist in training initiatives for operators and team members on CMM operation, inspection techniques, and quality standards.
- ** Compliance**: Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality regulations, and company policies in all quality-related activities.
- ** Problem-Solving**: Utilize root cause analysis tools to investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

- ** Continuous Improvement**: Commitment to implementing and developing business improvement initiatives within the Quality department, which may include developing procedures for inspectors and providing training.
- ** Interpersonal and Troubleshooting Skills**: Excellent interpersonal skills and adept at troubleshooting quality issues.

**Education and/or Experience**:

- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, or related field.
- Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with manual layout inspection techniques, CMM inspections, and machining processes such as turning and milling.
- Experience in aerospace is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English language, both verbal and written.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret blueprints and sketches accurately.
