**SUMMARY**:Performs a variety of service and housekeeping duties, including facility cleaning and maintenance, in assigned areas, following established schedules and using prescribed methods.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.**
- Maintains assigned area of responsibility.
- Cleans meta, tile and porcelain fixtures in bathroom. Wipes all horizontal surfaces.
- Dries and wet mops floors; vacuums carpets and spot cleans when assigned.
- Spot cleans walls, glass partitions, and polishes metal surfaces.
- Disposes facility trash according to prescribed procedures.
- Cleans washrooms and bathrooms; replenishes supplies.
- Cleans bed and furniture in room of discharged resident.
- Performs isolation room cleaning as scheduled.
- Cleans wheelchairs as scheduled.
- Complies with facility safety program. Observes and reports the need to repair equipment, furniture, or fixtures.
- Attends in-service training programs.
- Assists in cleaning of emergency spills.
- Observes established infection control procedures.
- Communicates with residents and staff.
- Adheres to the Peter Becker Community Code of Conduct and all Corporate Compliance and HIPAA Policies and Procedures.
- Attends all mandatory in-services.
- Attendance is an essential function for this position.
- Adheres to facility and department dress code.
- Performs additional duties as required.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**:High School Diploma Preferred

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**:Must be able to understand English and understand job responsibilities. Must be able to read and write basic English.
