Full service wedding planning and design company is searching for a new, experienced team member. Searching for contractor for day-of wedding coordination. Company is based on a high level of client satisfaction and has high standards for a coordinator with experience in the wedding & hospitality industry. MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IN WEDDING COORDINATION. Opportunity to grow within the company from coordinator to lead within time.

- responsible to provide self transportation to various venues in Southern California.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

- assisting direction of wedding ceremony rehearsals
- supporting lead coordinator with pre wedding design set up
- light lifting of wedding decor/furniture
- assisting bride & groom with day-of needs
- communicating with clients during wedding day
- managing timeline of various day-of events from pre-wedding, ceremony, reception festivities
- providing cues and act as a liaison with client to DJ, Photographer, Videographer, Event & Banquet team
- confirming ceremony + reception floor plans
- thinking fast during unexpected situations and providing timely alternative solutions
- break down at end of wedding reception including managing vendors to be off venue property within time frame and loading client decor items into their car.

Must be willing to work weekends. Since wedding dates vary, the position will be filled on an as-needed basis. Pay range dependent on previous experience.
