**ROLE DESCRIPTION**:
As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Wayne Shoemaker - State Farm Agent, your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you an ideal fit. This is an entry level position with an opportunity to grow and develop professionally.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service examples would be answering and transferring calls, following up on claims, responding to inquiries, collecting payments, billing clarifications, answering customer questions and follow-up on requests, supporting licensed team members, and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Help our Agency grow through customer acquisition and retention.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attendance.
- Ability to be a part of a Team focused environment.
- Willingness and ability to learn, and to follow directions of Team Leaders.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Complete pre-employment assessments.
- Participate in an in-person interview.
- Demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Be able to effectively relate to a customer, answer their questions, and anticipate their needs.
- Proactive in problem-solving.
- Maryland insurance licensing after employment.
