We are open 5 days a week Monday thru Friday to serve our clients. We strive to provide the best customer service and also serve in assisting rescue organizations to help get all pets adopted.
We want to make our clinic accessible to anyone needing an affordable low cost spay and neuter clinic and Veterinary care.
We are seeking a Veterinary Room Nurse/Receptionist with at least 1 year's of experience, to be part of a team that dedicates themselves to assisting organizations finding pets their forever homes. We currently travel a few times a month to our sister location in City of Industry. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a long-term career and to grow with our practice. We are looking for applicants with a good work ethic, can pay attention to detail, a team player, professional, great attitude, multi tasker and strives to maintain the highest quality of patient care and client service. We are currently working on adding more clinics to our sister rescue facilities.
**Key responsibilities would include and not be limited to**:
- Basic knowledge of veterinary medicine and terminology.
- Verbal and written skills.
- Strong attention to detail and follow through.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide outstanding services to clients.
- Ability to handle high stress situations.
- Customer service duties: greeting clients, answering phones, making appointments and assisting clients.
- Checking patients in and out for appointments and surgeries.
- Knowledge of canine and feline vaccines.
- Obtaining client information for medical records.
- Obtaining and processing payments.
- Taking medical history and presenting to the Doctor.
- Taking vitals and entering information in medical records.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacology.
- Client communication.
- Creating and presenting diagnostic and treatment plans to clients.
- Room to grow in company.
- Be willing to work at vet clinics additional location.
- Team work

**Requirements**:
- 1 year of Veterinary experienced (preferred).
- A desire to be part of a team.
- Able to lift 40 pounds.
- Stand/be on your feet up to 8 hours.
- Work at a high pace.
