The Maricopa Chamber of Commerce is a membership-based organization. Among our members are local businesses of all sizes and industries, local utility companies and service providers, as well as a variety of non-profit and charitable organizations and churches. We currently provide an annual print business directory and an annual map; which are benefits to our members, the community and visitors.

**Overview**:
**Duties**:
Customer Service:
External Communications
- Maintain website/blog (does not require extensive web design knowledge)
- Compile reoccurring Chamber communications
- Create and maintain promotional materials (fliers, business cards, sales book, etc.)

Finance
- Track invoices/charges
- Prepare deposits

Events
- Create and manage Chamber Calendar, Eblast and website
- Work with ED for special events (Paws & Claws, Quarterly Economic Forum, etc.)

General Duties
- Schedule meetings with BOD, local officials, business leaders, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a similar role or relevant admin position
- High organizational ability
- Willingness to learn
- Creative thinking and problem solving skills
- Passion for local businesses and community
- Verbal and written communication
- Modern office systems and procedures
- Time management
- Communicate effectively with the public and government employees
- Follow oral and written instructions

This position supports the mission of the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce and our commitment to local businesses and the community.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

- Administrative: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 3 years (preferred)
