Bella Vita Day Spa (located in The Fitness Center at South Shore) is searching for a spa front desk receptionist who is warm, welcoming and professional. They assist in overseeing the arrival and departure of members/guests, handle credit card, on-account and cash transactions for spa services and product sales and provide information to members/guests regarding products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a welcome reception for all members and guests.
- Coordinate reception of guests arriving at the spa desk for their services and treatments and handling charges or payments.
- Maintain control of the point of sale area and follow established procedures for receiving cash, on account and credit card payments.
- Be knowledgeable and provide information about products, services and fitness center facilities to all guests and members. Will assist them in making choices whenever appropriate. Stay up-to-date and educated on spa retail lines as to effectively answer member/guest questions.
- Schedule guest appointments both by phone and in person according to procedures.
- Oversee the appointment book schedule at all times to be sure guests are paired up with their appropriate therapists and have all information necessary to have an enjoyable treatment/consultation experience.
- Complete proper detailed opening or closing procedures depending on shift
- Assist in the contribution of spa cleanliness, ensuring that standards are being met on a consistent basis.
- Present a consistent positive attitude toward the customer and work environment

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be outgoing and friendly, have a genuine willingness to provide uncompromising service to guests, excellent organizational skills, moderate computer skills, an ability to handle stress and a strong work ethic.
- Possess excellent time management skills.
- Always maintain professionalism, tact and discretion respecting both the client and their privacy.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 12 per week

Weekly day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- High school or equivalent (preferred)
