**Job Summary**:
Canna Remedies Inventory Specialists are organized and detail oriented; focusing on managing and maintaining in store and online inventory. The inventory specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring CR’s adherence and compliance to inventory policies and regulatory requirements. These individuals are trustworthy with outstanding record-keeping and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret and analyze data.

In addition to order fulfillment, the Inventory Specialist assists with vault organization, shrink control, receiving, inventory counts and reconciliation, E-Commerce maintenance, and ensuring back of house efficiencies. The Inventory Specialist will also assist the dispensary team with any and all additional tasks as deemed appropriate and within a practical scope.

**Responsibilities**:

- Inventory Accuracy and Efficiency_
- Maintain precise and timely record-keeping of inventory transactions across all inventory management and tracking systems
- Identify, report and assist in the resolution of inventory issues. Confer with management to implement plans and recommendations for resolution
- Conduct cycle-counting and full physical counts, report results, and escalate any issues to management in a timely manner
- Monitor stock levels of cannabis and cannabis related items and identify trends and areas for improvement, sharing relevant information with the management team
- Provide inventory analysis and audits to identify slow-moving and expiring inventory
- Inventory Management and Security_
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in the company’s secure storage areas, workroom, and other areas of inventory use
- Restrict access to the cannabis storage areas as set forth in the inventory SOPs and security protocols
- Prepare the workroom at the start of each day, replenish low stock items, and ensure the proper electronic reflection of all inventory
- Ensure safe storage of all cannabis products at the close of each business day.
- Receive and process cannabis deliveries, confirming accuracy, ensuring state-compliant labeling and complete accompanying documentation
- Oversee returned inventory, quarantine and disposal process as needed in coordination with management and security
- Maintain compliance with NJ CRC Adult Use Cannabis rules and regulations
- Customer Order Fulfillment_
- Ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders and assembling customer orders for pick-up, in-store, or curbside
- Provide guidance to retail employees as necessary regarding best inventory practices to ensure accuracy at the POS and to prevent discrepancies
- Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all order details are entered correctly into the system
- Handle and resolve product issues, discrepancies, and order-related issues promptly and effectively
- Collaboration and Communication_
- Work closely with the retail team to ensure seamless communication and efficient order fulfillment processes
- Assist the retail team with sales transactions in store and for curbside pick up as needed
- Communicates inventory action items to dispensary and inventory management teams to maintain current inventory on hand
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage inventory and shipping logistics, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Monitor order status and tracking information to proactively address potential delays or issues
- Assist in the training of new and current staff members as delegated
- Participate in CR staff trainings and meetings, providing support when needed
- Product Knowledge and Systems Management_
- Develop an understanding of the products being sold to accurately create and represent products within the inventory system and on the E-Commerce platform
- Accurately process paperwork and digitally accept deliveries using all required inventory and tracking systems in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain products within the inventory and E-Commerce systems
- Maintain a basic knowledge of cannabis and cannabis use in NJ

**Education & Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is desirable
- Previous experience in inventory, order processing, or e-commerce roles preferred
- Previous experience in cannabis preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel software and/or Google Sheets (i.e. formulas and tools) required

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent computer proficiency and operating office equipment (i.e. printers, copiers, telephone systems)
- Basic Math required for inventory
