_Palm Cottages is a locally owned and operated 96 unit assisted living facility that offers a home like setting and sense of family to our aging population. We are proud to continuously offer quality care in Rockledge, FL to our residents for over 20 years. We are currently searching for an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead to our team. _**Assisted Living experience is not required, applicants who want to share their passion for leading and developing a team and promoting a positive environment for the seniors who reside with us, should apply.**_

**Main Responsibilities Include**:

- Manage the day-to-day operational activities and community goals.
- Maintain a full understanding of licensure and regulatory requirements
- Implement control systems to ensure accountability of all departments
- Ensure that census expectations are met and that the resident admission process documentation is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with established policy and procedure
- Oversee the recruitment and retention of qualified staff throughout the community, making sure onboarding requirements are met before the employee is released to work on the floor
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, professional referral sources, community partners.
- Oversee the community budget, revenue and financial decisions, providing guidance and training to department heads on the maintenance of the overall community budget
- Actively participate in in-house sales activities including prospective resident tours and special events.
- Ensure compliance of documentation and reporting requirements per state and federal regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role, managing 3 or more subordinate department managers and/or 30 or more employees.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience of developing strategies and implementing plans.
- Ability to manage customer and community relationships.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities, manage time effectively and meet deadlines accordingly.
- Ability to proficiently used Microsoft products such as, Outlook and Word.
- Experience with an electronic management systems preferred.

**Scheduling Requirements of the Position**:

- Full Time, Salary - Flexible hours and scheduling
- Weekend availability for inquiring phone calls and emergencies.
- Most work must be done on site; however flexibility is available to accommodate remote work as needed.
