**Basic Function**

The position entails supervising the day-to-day activities of our packing procedures. The Packing Supervisor will manage and oversee the packing team, ensuring targets are achieved, and upholding top-notch product quality standards. Knowing how to effectively handle the packaging of finished goods into boxes and pallets is crucial for this role.

**Major Responsibilities**
- Monitor packing processes and quality standards to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Inspect, supervise, and complete all forms corresponding to SSOPs programs reports.
- Inspect products prior to packaging and return rejected products to production departments.
- Train new packing staff and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to the team.
- Work as a team with the Quality Control Department and comply with all regulations and requirements of the USDA.
- Oversee team performance and ensure that they are properly rotated to prevent injuries and increase productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance and Maintenance, to ensure that all packing processes are aligned and coordinated in a timely matter.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, quality metrics, and inventory levels.
- Engage the team to encourage development. Aid management with a development plan to ensure that capable employees are promoted.
- Supervise and coordinate workers engaged in packaging products and materials for storage or shipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition and compliant with safety regulations.
- Fill out assigned daily and weekly packing forms. Make sure that assigned packing forms are classified and stored away.
- Developing and executing safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines.
- Preparing and regularly enforcing policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
- Evaluating practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.
