Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with individuals with drugs and/or alcohol abuse and other behavioral health needs, implementing behavior plans and providing support in various settings. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and their families.

**Duties**:

- Implement behavior plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect and record data on individual's progress and behaviors
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions using applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques
- Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
- Assist with crisis management and de-escalation techniques when necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
- Experience working with individuals with autism or behavioral health needs is highly desirable
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals
- Ability to follow direction and implement behavior plans as outlined by BCBAs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic knowledge of crisis management techniques
- Familiarity with data collection methods and procedures
