**Quail Run Behavioral Health Hospital** in Phoenix is seeking a dynamic and talented **Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) **to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.

The **Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)** functions as an active and integral part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients. The **Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)** works under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Monitor each patient’s location per the Observation Policy and Procedure.
- Assit with Vistation in the evenings.
- Utilize sound judgment during assessment and observe and documents any changes in a patient's appearance, behavior or ability to work toward treatment plan goals.
- Follow the therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team for each patient
- Comply with the established policies and procedures requiring a safe, clean and therapeutic environment

Qualifications:
**Job Requirements**:

- Experience working in a behavioral health care setting with adolescents
- High School Diploma or GED as well as a combination of behavioral health education and work experience totaling 4 years
- Current CPR or BLS certification
- Successful completion of (SAMA) including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment
- ** Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire.**
