Production Lead

Production Lead will oversee the production line to ensure Quality and Efficiency is maintained. Works directly with supervisor and Manager to fulfill daily quotas and to prepare for upcoming production runs. Production Lead will assist in the training of production team members. Will assist the Supervisor in leading a group of peers largely in coordination of work which may include gathering materials, production functions, and training/mentoring.
**Responsibilities**:
- They motivate members of the team to harness their potentials and work harder for the execution of their assigned tasks
- Assigning tasks to team members and giving them specific directions and procedures to follow
- Monitor team members in the course of their work and ensure that they comply with the standards of operations obtainable in the establishment.
- Responsible for providing leadership for the team involved in manufacturing
- Responsible in guiding the team in ensuring production efficiency and quality
- Exhibits great leadership skills by showcasing knowledge and skills to the team members, giving them direction to go about their tasks and duties on the job.
- Recognizes the contribution of every team member and encourages them to work together, sharing ideas and maintaining good relationships in the execution of production tasks.
- Places the safety of the team members in high esteem and educates them on safety tips and procedures to adhere to during the manufacturing process.
- Ensure that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements
- Ensure the team are aware of day to day targets and responsibilities
- Responsible for training of team for products and processes within the local team
- Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them
- Provide product expertise within team, and respond to team questions
**Education, Experience, Skill and/or Attributes Required**:
- Minimum of two years of related experience running production lines and being a lead.
- Must have knowledge of at least two production lines.
- Organized thought process with high attention to detail with ability to produce accurate results, effective prioritization to meet scheduled deadlines, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Professional attitude and the ability to represent the company with integrity
- Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math
- Embraces personal challenge
- High levels of motivation, optimistic and action orientated
- Work independently, reviewed infrequently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to lead by example, gain respect from team and communicate with clarity whilst demonstrating excellence in approach to work and people activities

**Physical Requirements/Working Conditions**:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb and move about the facility
- Regularly operates a computer, computer accessories and phone equipment
- Required to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Occasionally stoops, kneels, reaches and carries
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
