Efficiently oversee the daily operations of the household. Assign and track performance in order to provide high standards of quality and care. Oversee every facet of the staff team and exhibit strong leadership to guarantee that employees understand their jobs and responsibilities and have the resources they require to do them safely.

Be in charge of providing the service in accordance with corporate policy and legal standards.

Put in place processes for quality improvement and management. Handle problems and complaints with effectiveness. Conduct inquiries about the caliber of services provided, and utilize the results to put improvements into practice. To guarantee the safe delivery of services, be ready to operate flexibly.

Handle the risk assessment, care planning, and initial assessment of residents in a person-centered manner.

To provide top-notch services, demonstrate exceptional communication skills with residents, their families, representatives, the staff, and other experts.

Qualifications:

- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or equivalent

2. Experience:

- At least 2 years of experience working in a care setting, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or management role

3. Registration:

- Register with the relevant professional regulator (e.g., Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England, Care Inspectorate in Scotland, etc.) or ready to take up CQC registration

4. DBS Check:

- Complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

5. Skills and Knowledge:

- Demonstrate knowledge of care standards, regulations, and best practices
- Show leadership and management skills, including communication, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Understand safeguarding, risk assessment, and quality assurance

6. Training and Development:

- Complete required training and development programs, such as the Care Certificate
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

7. Person-Centered Care:

- Demonstrate a commitment to person-centered care, prioritizing residents' needs and well-being

8. Business and Financial Management:

- Understand the business and financial aspects of running a care home, including budgeting and resource management

Pay: £16.00-£25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 45 per week
