**Summary of Duties**

Responsible for the organization, coordination, and facilitation of activity programs designed to promote the wellness of a resident population, creation of a supportive, enjoyable lifestyle for the residents. This position also provides sales support and reports to the Executive Director.

**Essential Functions**
- Familiar with and adheres to company policy and procedures pertaining to sales and activities.
- Creates a well-balanced program to reflect activities that meet residents’ social, recreational, spiritual, educational, and physical needs.
- Plans activities and makes arrangements to carry out plans; Creates a monthly calendar of activities/events, which is posted centrally in the community by the first of each month; A copy is also given to each resident.
- Maintains program activities within the budget, purchases departmental supplies, keeps a record of expenditures via expense spenddown sheets, and turns in receipts for payment/reimbursement in a timely manner.
- Monitors inventory and is responsible for activities, supplies, and equipment.
- Assists the Sales Team in developing and implementing the community’s marketing plan; Provide tours to the residents and prospects.
- Participates in stand-up meetings and other meetings as requested by the Executive Director.
- Contacts community sources to expand volunteer base and to vary resident activities.
- Works with other department heads as needed to ensure activities run smoothly.
- Attends community in-services and teaches as requested.

**Non-Essential Functions**
- Supports and participates in the resident centered activity programs.
- Participates in projects or committees as assigned.
- Attends all associate meetings including in-service education and associate functions, as requested by supervisor.
- Assists in variety of tasks involving residents as assigned.

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience**
- Minimum of one year working with the senior population.
- Good organization planning and communication skills.
- Arts and crafts and musical ability and familiarity with wellness programming desired.
- Must possess a high degree of interpersonal relations skills and capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities; Considerable initiative, judgment, and leadership skills are also required.
- Respond positively to constructive feedback by listening to supervisor, customers, and peers and use it to improve performance.
- Ability to travel to meetings as requested by supervisor.
- Adherence to the Grace Management, Inc. Sales & Marketing Manual, all Policies and Procedure Manuals and Associate Handbook. Must possess a high level of flexibility and tolerance to adjust to changes in workloads, assignments, hours, and days (i.e., weekends, evenings, holidays).
- Job requires frequent sitting and standing; Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and lift and/or push 40 pounds.
- Must have a satisfactory completion of criminal background check and drug screening upon hire and upon request of supervisor or Grace Management, Inc. Support the team to meet or exceed budgeted occupancy and revenue.
- Meet or exceed established Key Performance Metrics (KPI’s).
- Utilize The ENGAGE Experience sales process for internal and external sales functions.
- Assist with the creation of Strategic Sales and Marketing Trimester Plans with support from the Sales Director, Executive Director, Regional Director of Operations, and Regional Director of Sales.
- Support the effective and successful execution of the Strategic Sales and Marketing Trimester Plans.
- Coordinate with appropriate associates to ensure smooth and successful Sales & Marketing events.
- Appropriately plan and allocate marketing expenditures under the guidance of the Sales Director.
- Audit, reconcile, and process appropriate invoices for payment, ensuring adherence to the Marketing budget.
- Adhere to the GMI Brand Style Guide with utilization and creation of any public-facing materials and press releases.
- Maintain accurate and current marketing materials, supplies, forms, checklists, and move in packets.
- Assist in the completion of move in paperwork for new residents.
- Ensure smooth transition for new residents into their new home by utilizing effective communication and exceptional customer service.
- Assist with maintaining a current Competitive Marketing Analysis (to be updated at least twice each year)
