**Responsibilities**:

- To provide superior opportunities for students in line with the ‘Be Ambitious’ model that is embedded in the Nord Anglia philosophy;
- In collaboration with the Director of Learning Support, provide push/pull intervention services for students in the areas of Numeracy and Literacy;
- Assess, plan, resource and collaborate with class teachers to provide support to students.
- Deliver numeracy and literacy intervention sessions for students needing additional support.
- Assess, plan, resource and collaborate with class teachers to provide student support.
- Maintain records of students' progress, including required statutory documents and reports.
- Assess students using standardized assessments to determine intervention next steps.
- Write Learning Support Plans outlining best practice for the classroom and intervention overview.
- Write reports to parents as required and conduct Parent Teacher Conferences.
- Contribute to the school improvement/development planning and promote the learning priorities of the school development plan.
- Use the school's student tracking and reporting process to advance student learning and enhance professional practice.

**Qualifications**:

- Working knowledge of different learning styles and learning differences.
- Experience planning and delivering intervention focused on foundational numeracy and literacy skills.
- Orton Gillingham Certificate (Desirable but not essential).
- Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Experience with records maintenance, parent-teacher communication and understanding of assessment tools.
- Leadership skills to inspire trust and confidence in students and colleagues, build team commitment, and improve the quality of students' learning.

Pay: $45,447.56 - $50,323.95 per year
